Outcome document of Conference on Religion and Ageing

In September, this book edited by Andrea Bieler, Matthias Stracke and Angelika Veddeler of the Kirchliche Hochschule Wuppertal in Germany was published. It is a collection of essays which explore the intersection of religious, psychosocial, economic and cultural issues in relation to the dramatic demographic shifts we are facing on a global scale. Ina Voelcker, who participated in a conference on Religion and Ageing in Dezember 2015, contributed two chapters to this book – summarising her presentations given at the conference:

Chapter on “The Longevity Revolution: Global Developments and Ways Forward”, pp. 17-34

Chapter on “Protagonism and the Role of Older People in Policy-Making: A Bottom-Up Approach”, pp. 177-186
